Our business is focussed now on supplying frames and foundation, beekeeping accessories and bees. For hive parts, please see the catalogue for what is available; if in doubt, please email.

BEES

We aim to supply 5-frame nucs of calm local (Northumberland) bees. Happily, many people have become interested in bees and beekeeping recently; but this resulted in demand for our bees this year exceeding supply. We expect the same to apply in 2011. We already have a waiting list; we plan to give preference in the first place to people who have attended a course e.g. at their local Beekeeping Association (see links below), and secondly to people who are geographically close to us. We won't know before the beginning of May how many nucs we can offer in 2011 and plan to contact those on the list at that stage. We will probably limit customers to one nuc each.

Prices will be £125.00 for a 2010 queen (as most of them will be) and £145.00 for a 2011 queen, plus £5.00 for marking, which we will do if the opportunity arises.
