Quality Hives at Knockout Prices About Us We aim to provide British beekeepers with quality equipment at affordable prices. Our frames and most hive parts come from factories in Eastern Europe. We work closely with them to ensure that products made for us to UK designs are of the highest possible quality. We use Baltic Redwood (Pinus sylvestris) for our frames and most of our hives. Carefully selected Norway Spruce (Picea abies) and other woods are sometimes used where appropriate. We do not use cedar. The Baltic Redwood which we use is strong, close grained and, if treated with suitable wood preservative, long lasting; we think it offers our customers the best available value for their money.
